Spa Time!

Forget the spa! Have your own with these simple, relaxing things to do to get your skin looking its best!

Lip Scrub: Take a spoonful of sugar (Depending on proportion) And pour it in a bowl. Then just take another spoonful of olive oil, and pour that into the bowl. Stir it all together and apply to lips. Lastly, just wash off the scrub and your done!!

Facial Scrub: Take some oatmeal. Then run it under some luke warm water. (But make sure you don't get the oatmeal too drenched!)
Massage the scrub into your face.
After your done just rinse it off. (The oatmeal will reduce redness, dryness, and irritation.)

Chocolate Mask: Take a spoonful of cocoa powder and honey. Then mix it all together!
Then take another spoonful of yogurt.
Then again, mix!
Have it chill in your refrigerator for a couple of minutes.
Apply to your face
Have it sit for 25 minutes.
Rinse!

Cotton Masks: Take some skin conditioner and cotton pads.
Drench the pads with your skin conditioner.
Lightly stretch and pull the cotton pads (You DO NOT want them to rip!)
Then peel the pads apart.
Apply them to your whole face!
Let the mask soak for about 10 minutes
Peel off the cotton pads and your done!

(DIY) Lip Balm: Take a small container.
Get a little bit of either clear lip gloss, or vaseline as a base. Just take a spoonful
(Optional) Then take some tinted lip gloss and apply a couple of squirts to add some color.
To get it even more colorful, you can take lipstick, and eyeshadow.
Put the lip balm in the microwave for a minute. (If it does not heat up right away, just do little incraments.)
Mix it up
Put it in the freezer for about an hour.
Take it out and your finished!

Homecoming How To's: Hair

Hey Guys! So homecoming is coming up soon and I thought I would share some great hairstyle for you! Most of these work better with longer hair!

Curled Messy Bun

This is one of my favorite hairstyles because it looks beautiful and will look amazing for any homecoming night!

Step 1: Brush your hair and part your hair to the middle. Then take a heat protectant and spray it through your hair.

Step 2: Put your hair in a loose ponytail.

Step 3: Then take your hair and pull some side pieces to use. Then do loose curls in your hair and use bobby pins to pin your curled ponytail up and all messy looking.

Step 4: Make sure to use a hairspray for all night last!!!

Braided Bun

Step 1: Brush your hair out and put it into a big, volumized bun.

Step 2: Then braid a section of your hair and use bobby pins to secure your braid.

Step 3: Use hairspray for a long lasting finish!

Classic Loose Curls

Step 1: Apply a heat protectant to your hair.

Step 2: Curl your entire head of hair with a 1 1/2 inch curling iron, then run your fingers loosely through your hair and apply hairspray!

Wavy Curls

Step 1: Apply a heat protectant to your hair.

Step 2: Then take a curling iron of any size and curl your hair loosely and run your finger through it.

Step 3: then take a crimping iron and lightly press it on your hair to get these flawless waves!

The Classic Straight

The most classic look is to wear your hair straight with some bangs or no bangs at all!

Step 1: All you have to do is apply a heat protectant and spend a long time straightening your hair and make sure it looks perfect and seal with a hairspray!!!!

HAVE A GREAT TIME AT HOMECOMING!!!!!!

Homecoming How To's: Makeup

Hey Guys! So for all of you high schoolers, HOMECOMING is coming up! And if you aren't already excited enough, well get more excited because I will be showing a great makeup look that would be perfect for your dancing, crazy, fun night!

This is the look i am aiming for!!!! <3

Step 1: Start off with a clean canvas and put any acne treatments or facial cleansers about a week or two the night before homecoming to have fresh and healthy skin! I recommend the ZENO Hot Spot!!!!!

Step 2: Use a nice foundation that is good for pictures and that won't just sweat off your face. I recommend Revlon Photo Finish! It's meant for pictures and will last all night long!

Step 3: Use a great under eye concealer that is a shade or two lighter than your actual skin tone because it will brighten up your eyes more! I recommend the MAC Select Cover Up.

Step 4: Take a nice powder and set your concealer and foundation with it. I recommend the MAC Pressed Powder.

Step 5: Take a nice pinky, coral color and smile to find the apples of your cheeks, then blend to your temples. I recommend the Sonia Kashuk Super Sheer Liquid Tint in Poppy.

Step 6: For your eyes start off with a nice eye shadow primer. I recommend getting the Elf Eye Shadow Quad in Drama for this eye shadow look! If you don't get the Elf palette that's fine than just cope with what you have. Take a shimmery white color and apply that to the inner tear-duct, then take a light silver-gray sparkly color and apply that to the lid. Then take a sparkly dark silver and apply that to the highlight, and lastly take a sparkly black and apply that to the outer corner!

Step 7: Curl your lashes and apply mascara or false lashes. If you use mascara I recommend getting a waterproof one!

Step 8: Apply a black, waterproof, eyeliner to your waterline and smudge at the outer area.

Step 9: Take a light pink lip-stain and apply it to your lips! I recommend Benefit Posie Tint! Then take a light pink gloss and apply it over the lip-stain. I recommend Sonia Kashuk Ultra Shine Sheer Lip Gloss in Fairy!

HAVE A GREAT HOMECOMING!!!!!!!!

How To #3- Get Cute Hairstyles for Fall

I love the top knot buns! They look great with any outfit.

HOW TO:

  • Flip you hair over and gather it into a high ponytail
  • Secure your high ponytail with an elastic (Preferably your hair color)
  • Twist your hair around the elastic and pin the bun with another elastic, or bobby pins.

A fishtail braid compliments any face nicely and looks gorgeous when it is loose and messy!

HOW TO:

  • Gather hair to one side.
  • Then start part that side of  hair you took and part it in two sections.
  •  Then take one piece of hair, cross it over to the other side. (That piece of hair you crossed is now apart of that side of hair)
  • Take another piece of hair and cross it over to the OTHER side. (And that piece of hair becomes apart of that side!)

The sleek pony tail hairstyle is very simple, and fast, but stylish!

HOW TO:

  • Gel back your hair into a medium high pony (Or however high you desire) Secure it with an elastic
  • OPTIONAL- Take a thin strand of hair and wrap it around the elastic then pin it in with a bobby pin to make it look more sleek

The snake braid is a little twist on a regular braid.

HOW TO:

  • Grab a medium size section and start braiding that section.
  • When you get to the bottom of your hair take the outer two sections (Or the outer left and right pieces) Put them together and bring it all the way up.
  • Then it will look scrunched, but you just have to spread it out.

This style is perfect for the people that dont have the best hair days!

HOW TO:

  • Gather your hair into a low, loose ponytail.
  • Create a part right above your ponytail so your ponytail has a place to fit through.
  • Then, grab your ponytail and push it through the gap that you created. After pushing it through, tighten the ponytail so it looks more done.

I do this dancer bun hairstyle so much. It's so simple, but yet put together.

HOW TO:

  • Gather hair into a medium high ponytail. (DO NOT USE ELASTIC!)
  • Then, twist your hair into a circle like shape. (Use your hand as a guide)
  • Once you have a pretty good bun shape, wrap your elastic around the bun until it is secure.
